Melbourne designer Gemma Leslie took a new approach to work after losing her job during the 2020 pandemic, producing a series of illustrated A2 recipe posters from well known Aussie chefs and donating half the profits to charities such as SecondBite.
The limited edition posters are available from her online store Food for Everyone and Gemma has chosen to donate fifty per cent of profits to food rescue charities and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
The vibrant, playful posters are printed on recycled coffee cup paper and feature recipes from well known chefs Guillaume Brahimi and Simon Gloftis, food writer Emiko Davies and gun home cook Jessica Nguyen. There is also a quirky fruit salad poster inspired by the growers and stallholders at the Queen Victoria Market.
Other products in Gemma’s range include linen tea towels, caps, cutlery and children’s t-shirts. With Christmas around the corner, the range offers a fun and unique opportunity to buy gifts with heart and help put nutritious food on the table for Aussies in need.
