Two New 14-Pallet Trucks for NSW and WA!
We’re thrilled to announce a major enhancement to our national fleet with the addition of two brand-new 14-pallet trucks, thanks to the generous support from our grant partners!
New Wheels on the Road:
NSW Warehouse: With funding from the NSW Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) grant, we’ve welcomed ‘Jackfruit’ to our NSW warehouse. Previously, our largest truck could carry eight pallets, but ‘Jackfruit’ now significantly increases our capacity to 14 pallets.
WA Warehouse: Thanks to a donation from the Western Australian Department of Communities to help families and vulnerable West Australians affected by the rising cost of living, our WA warehouse has purchased a 14-pallet truck ‘Kiwifruit.’ Previously our largest truck could carry eight pallets and this new addition will extend our impact across the region.
These new additions mark a significant step forward in our work to tackle food insecurity. With these trucks, we’re now able to distribute more meals to Australians in need. This year, our NSW and WA warehouses alone have redistributed more than 6.2 million kilograms of food—equivalent of up to 12.4 million meals. This progress underscores our unwavering commitment to addressing hunger and the vital support from our community.
