SecondBite receives ‘Highly Commended’ WasteSorted 2021 Awards

SecondBite WA received ‘Highly Commended’ awards in two categories of the WasteSorted 2021 Awards held on 5th May:

1. Avoid Recover Protect Waste Management, and
2. Commercial and Industrial.

The team were delighted with the accolades and there were some incredibly competitive entries.SecondBite in WA provides food relief for 288 charities including regional areas.

Recently we assisted at Cyclone Seroja and also delivered food to the recent Gingin bushfires and the Yanchep fires in 2020. Rescuing surplus and unsold food to donate to our charities would not be possible without the fantastic team in WA including 57 volunteers, some of which joined the team at the awards.
