Every egg makes a difference: Josh’s Rainbow Eggs supports SecondBite

Josh’s Rainbow Eggs are helping meet the growing community need for food relief by supporting SecondBite and our charity partners through their Giving Initiative.
Victorians can participate in the Giving Initiative and support SecondBite by choosing Josh’s Rainbow Eggs at Coles supermarkets – with 20 cents donated for every carton sold.
The generosity of Josh’s Rainbow Eggs and their customers ensures nutritious food reaches people who need it most- like the many people experiencing homelessness who access the breakfast program at our charity partner St Mary’s House of Welcome in Fitzroy.

How the Josh’s Rainbow Eggs Giving Initiative supports SecondBite
Since 2019, Josh’s Rainbow Eggs has donated 58 tonnes of eggs to SecondBite – which is around 898,000 eggs. These eggs have been shared with people in need through our network of charity partners.
Since launching the Giving Initiative in December 2025, Josh’s Rainbow Eggs fundraising efforts have generated more than $92,000 – supporting the delivery of around 368,000 meals through SecondBite’s network.
SecondBite Victorian State Manager Mathew Reiffel said partnerships with producers like Josh’s Rainbow Eggs play a vital role in meeting ongoing demand for food relief.
“It’s partnerships like this that allow us to respond to growing community need,” Reiffel said.
