Need food?

SecondBite is committed to making a positive difference to people by identifying sources of nutritious surplus fresh food and providing it to people in need. We are funded to ensure that vulnerable Australians have improved access to fresh nutritious rescued food. We have created a targeted strategy for our operations, based on the most up to date data on food insecurity and disadvantage in Australia and we prioritize organisations that are registered not-for-profits that work with food insecure people in our targeted groups and areas.

DELIVERY: We can send a SecondBite van or a SecondBite volunteer to deliver to you if your program is located in metro areas in Melbourne, Geelong, Hobart, Launceston or Brisbane. 

COLLECTION: We could provide you access to our warehouse locations

SECONDBITE COMMUNITY CONNECT™:  Wherever you are in Australia, we can work together through SecondBite Community Connect to help you access local fresh surplus food. This program enables local food donors to connect directly with local community food programs in any area around Australia..
