Frank Costa

Frank is a respected businessman and foundation member of the successful Costa Group's fruit and vegetable business, the largest privately owned grower, packager, marketer, distributor and exporter of fresh fruit and vegetables and grains in the Southern Hemisphere. His outstanding contribution to the community over many years was recognised in June 1997 when Frank was honored with an Order of Australia Medal for his services to Youth and the Community and patron of 23 charities.
Frank is also passionate supporter of the Geelong Football Club, which enjoyed great success during his time as President.

Robert Doyle

Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Chairman of Melbourne Health and the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation, a Trustee of the Shrine of Remembrance, and Ambassador for Odyssey House (a drug and alcohol abuse rehabilitation facility), Robert Doyle has his eye on the big community picture.

Professor Rob Moodie

Rob Moodie is Professor of Global Health at the Nossal Institute for Global Health at the University of Melbourne. Between 1998 and 2007 he was the CEO of VicHealth. He is currently the Chair of the National Preventative Health Task Force.

Andrew Westacott

Andrew Westacott is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC). He commenced at AGPC in 2006 as the General Manager, Operations before later being appointed Deputy CEO and then Acting CEO. Andrew is also a Board Member of the Australia Motor Sport Foundation.

Prior to commencing at the AGPC, Andrew started his professional life as a chemincal engineering project manager before taking up senior positions in logistics, procurement and supply chain management with MasterFoods Australia New Zealand and Uncle Ben's of Australia. He then moved into major events in 2005 and played a key part in the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games as Group Manager for venue delivery and capital projects.

Ian Cover

ABC radio presenter and founding member of the Coodabeen Champions, Ian Cover's work with the Coodabeens has been a major part of his career in the media and entertainment industries. With his down-to-earth approach and his love of 'the game', he's a great supporter of the common man in all of us.

Santo Cilauro

Santo Cilauro is a radio presenter on the Triple M Network. Santo and fellow Working Dog team members have continued to create, write, direct and produce and occasionaly act in award-winning film and television enjoyed both locally and internationally.

Michael Short

The Age editorial Board Member and New Media Editor, Michael Short has long sought to use his involvement in media to amplify messages and work of philanthropic organisations.

Nick Stock

Nick Stock is one of Australiaʼs most prolific wine commentators and a best-selling author who is also widely published across leading Australian and international print media. He is also active in radio and television broadcasting, wine show judging, public speaking, educating and even winemaking. His frank and fearless style has made him one of the most popular and widely read Australian wine personalities, culminating in his global recognition as Best Drinks Journalist at the World Food Media Awards in 2007 and his recent award for Best Wine Tourism Feature at the 2012 Born Digital Awards in London.

Nick is author of the AGE / Sydney Morning Herald Good Wine Guide, has twice been crowned Australian Sommelier of the Year and is a sought after commentator, event host and presenter, well known for his engaging, informed and entertaining style. His digital film production company wineLENS leads the field in the production of broadcast quality content servicing the wine, food and tourism sectors.Nick also supports charities Room to Read, Cure Cancer, Sacred Heart Mission and Hutt Street Centre.

Tom Carson

Tom Carson is Yabby Lake's General Manager and Chief Winemaker. He also holds several wine judging roles including his recent post as the youngest Chairman to preside at The National Wine Show in Canberra, Panel Chair at The Royal Adelaide Wine Show and as a Qantas Wine Panel member since 2004. Tom’s vision for the direction and potential of Yabby Lake Vineyard has seen some exciting recognition in recent times with the most recent releases of Yabby Lake Single Block Pinot Noir (Block 2 & 6 from 2010), rated top pinot noirs in James Halliday’s latest 2013 Wine Companion, as well as two trophies at the recent Sydney Royal Wine Show for the 2009 Yabby Lake Single Vineyard Pinot Noir and three trophies for the Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2010 at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show 2011.

Adie Dawes-Birch

Adie is a strategic advisor with 20 years’ experience in marketing, communications and stakeholder relations. Her experience in working alongside all sectors of the community, has developed a strong belief that effective collaboration between government, commercial and not-for-profit sectors can produce positive outcomes for all. Amongst other organisations, she is currently the strategic advisor to Australia’s pre-eminent public policy organisation, The Global Foundation. As a mother of two young children, sustainability and community engagement are of paramount importance, and Adie is committed to helping nurture the great work of SecondBite along with her support of other organisations that have a positive impact on the community.

Susie Greig-Rouffignac

Suzie is a strategic communications consultant with 20 years' experience advising Boards and senior management on financial transactions, issues and corporate positioning. Suzie trained as a Chartered Accountant, has three daughters and as a keen sportsperson, has served extensively on various sporting club committees. Suzie would like to help SecondBite establish a strong presence in the Geelong region

Penny Fowler

Penny has a background in business and marketing and is currently a director of various private companies including K5 group and greentomatocars. She is involved with various charitable organisations that cover the arts, education and homelessness. Penny is concerned about how many people are in need of food in Victoria and hopes to be able to engage many people in understanding these issues and in advocating support for SecondBite.

Trevor Green

Trevor has vast experience in managing large not-for-profit music organisations in the public and private domain, in both Australia and the UK. He was Managing Director of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Director of the Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne and Head of Music BBC North in Manchester, UK.

Arianne Spratt

Arianne is best known as the TV chef ,with a down-to-earth approach to preparing nutritious meals for the family Mornings with David and Kim. She is a passionate foodie with a heartfelt commitment to social inclusion and the community at large.

Dale Monteith

As Chief Executive of the VRC, Dale’s been dynamic in leading the Victoria Racing Club and the Victorian racing industry into the 21st century and positioning the VRC as a centre for racing excellence and environmental sustainability with Flemington Green Fields.

Julie Heath

Julie works in community health in Geelong, and constantly observes the impacts of poor nutrition. She is keen to enable the sensitive redistribution of ‘good’ food to enhance nutrition, enjoyment of food, and promote social inclusion, and hopes to inspire others to promote ‘food’ access within the community. As well as her role at Barwon Health she is a community mediator, and is a volunteer at Outpost for the homeless preparing and serving meals.

Antony Heath

Antony has worked in the financial services industry since 1989, and provides advice and service across the Geelong region. He is ‘born & bred’ in Geelong and through both work and extensive community commitments, has a sound understanding of the challenges that many people face. He has great can-do attitude, and the skills to inspire others and facilitate community programs.

Sophie Holt

Sophie Holt is the Creative Director of Country Road. She has been with the company for nine years and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2009. Prior to joining Country Road she held the position of Design Director at Witchery and Seed. Sophie is married with three children.

Elaine Reeves
New Zealand born Elaine Reeves has worked on newspapers there and in London and Sydney before moving to Tasmania in 1988. For 18 years she has written a weekly feature on food for the Mercury newspaper in Hobart, in which she talks to people who grow, cook, process and otherwise add value to and sell food. Elaine lives with her partner, a farmer, who grows blueberries, strawberries and garlic near Cygnet, in southern Tasmania. She is on the executive committee of Slow Food Hobart.

Judy Tierney
Judy is a sought-after public speaker and also maintains an interest in the arts, regularly interviewing, “in conversation”, some of Australia’s most high profile artists and authors. In London Judy was appointed Sales Promotions Executive for Slazenger, Britain; in Kuwait she worked for the marketing company Intermarkets, handling international accounts including the Danish Dairy Board. Judy is a former current affairs and news journalist who worked on ABC TV and radio for nearly 30 years, as well as being the recipient of numerous stats and national awards for journalism.

Geoffrey Wilson

Based in Sydney, Geoff Wilson is one of Australia’s most respected and well-known investment fund managers. Geoffrey Wilson has had 30 years experience in the Australian and international securities industry. In 1999, Geoff started up WAM Capital Limited and from then to now includes 3 Listed Investment Companies.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Graduate Management Qualification.  He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Securities Institute of Australia.
